Some traditional oils contain higher levels of zinc and phosphorous, which may cause damage and blocking of the catalyst. The combination of quality base oils and an innovative additive system used within Carlube Triple R 0W-20 R-Tec 4 improves catalyst durability as it contains less phosphorous therefore reducing catalyst poisoning by keeping the catalysts clean and working for longer.
